The Leeds and 1000 Islands Historical Society was formed in 1992 to promote an awareness of local history through research, records and picture collections; and to provide means of getting these out to the public. We hold 7 public meetings each year and publish 2 newsletters.

Meets: 7:30 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from January to April and September to November at the Lansdowne Community Building (1 Jesse Street, Lansdowne).
